Wings Alliance claims further graduate success

The Wings Alliance, a not-for-profit trade alliance of independent European flight training schools, says that 100% of Wings Alliance graduates who have successfully completed the Wings Alliance Airline Pilot Certificate Course have been offered a job on the flight deck. According to the Wings Alliance, their latest graduate to gain employment is Michael Windsor who has been offered a job with Thomas Cook.

Michael said, “For the first time, modular students can train with one ‘umbrella’ organisation, the Wings Alliance and if successful with their training be recommended to partner airlines. I believe the Wings Alliance is set up to produce high quality ‘airline ready’ pilots that the airlines are waiting for.”

Wings Alliance say that Michael trained through the modular route as he knew from the beginning he wasn’t going to be able to study on the integrated route as he did not have the access to the funds required for the training. Michael also wanted to continue to work part-time to help fund his training which he could not do with the integrated route.

Michael added: “I particularly enjoyed the Advanced Pilot Non-Technical Training part of the APC. This course I think is unique in the industry, bringing to life the challenges of the decision-making processes that within a crew I will face on the flight deck with my new employer.
