Civil Aviation Authority go on the road

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will be holding a number of roadshows in March and April to discuss recent and forthcoming regulatory changes affecting General Aviation (GA) organisations. The CAA say that the ‘roadshow’ programme will cover:

  • Implementation of Part-DTO (Declared Training Organisation),
  • Update on the efforts to reduce Airspace Infringements
  •  Implementation of Part-SPO (Special Operations
  • Implementation of Part-ML and Combined Airworthiness Organisation

The CAA say that they can only accept a maximum of 2 delegates from each organisation and at one event only. Attendance will be free of charge. The timing and the order of presentation will be confirmed in the joining instructions. Those wishing to attend are requested to e-mail [email protected] using the subject title GA Unit Roadshows. The e-mail should specify:

The Organisation name and type (eg: Pilot Training or Maintenance),

The name and post of the delegate/s,

First and second choice of venue/s (and dates),

E-mail address and telephone number,

Special assistance (if necessary).

  • Thursday 16th March     Weston-super-Mare
  • Tuesday 21st March        Perth
  • Thursday 23rd March     Antrim
  • Tuesday 28th March       Huddersfield
  • Wednesday 29th March                Kettering
  • Thursday 4th April           Gatwick Airport
