Airline Pilot Training 2018 brings together pilots and representatives from 10 leading airlines to offer aviation industry advice.

Staged by Kura Aviation, the community interest event held at Stratford Girls Grammar School was attended by 400 young people.  All are considering a career as pilots or working within the industry.

Addressing a variety of subjects, the free-social-enterprise event offered a podium for current aviation professionals to share their personal experiences.

Talking about the seminar, Isobel Hall, Kura Aviation CEO, said: “Our Airline Pilot Training events enable a platform for inspirational communication between those who dream of working in this industry and those who already are.”

Career advice was given on subjects such as, ‘skills required to become a First Officer’ and, ‘a pilot’s working day’, not forgetting the all-important, ‘what recruitment teams look for when recruiting’.

Discussing the success of the Airline Pilot Training 2018, Kura’s CEO added: “We believe that this event will have a positive influence on the new pilot community and we look forward to hosting the next event of its kind in the near future.”
