Skyborne extends free simulator assessment offer

Gloucestershire Airport-based Skyborne Airline Academy have confirmed that they are extending their free simulator assessment preparation sessions on the Boeing 737 MAX to the end of July.

Originally launched to support ex-Flybe pilots, who were made redundant when the airline collapsed in early March 2020, Skyborne are offering this free simulator assessment to all commercial pilots that have been directly affected by the current COVID-19 related downturn.

Skyborne CEO Lee Woodward said: “Through our Sponsored Multi Engine Flight Instructor Programme, focused workshops and free access to our Boeing 737 Max simulator for assessment preparation, we hope to bring some stability to those affected, as they focus on their next steps, and possibly explore a new direction in their aviation career.”
