The Goodwood Flying School are pleased to announce the continuation of the Rob Wildeboer Scholarships, with 2023 applications now open.
Formed to “remember and honour” the former Goodwood Flying School Manager Rob Wilderboer, who passed away in July 2021, “a number of scholarships were made available to help a number of students on their aviation journeys”.
Thanks to the generous donations from the Goodwood community, a number of awards will also be available this year. These will constitute ten hours in the Cessna 172, 15 hours in the Piper Cub, five Day Groundschool sessions and a selection of PPL/LAPL training books from Pooleys Flight Equipment. All training will be carried out at Goodwood Flying School during 2023
Applicants should be at least 16 years old and able to obtain the appropriate medical. Prospective candidates should email [email protected] , providing brief details of any previous flying experience an explaining in no more than 500 words why they wish to apply for the scholarship.
