Applicants have until 11 June 2023 to apply for a drone scholarship from the Air League.
The Air League’s drone scholarships provide individuals with an opportunity to explore the career pathway options within the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) sector.
The Air League offers those with zero to little experience an opportunity to gain skill, build an understanding and an insight into the amazing career options available within aviation, aerospace, and space.
The scholarship provides an A2 Certificate of Competency, which is the entry-level qualification and allows an operator to fly their drone in the A2 category (Close to People). This is a one-day course covering subject matter on meteorology, RPAS flight performance and RPAS operating principles, culminating in an examination. There are eight scholarships on offer this year, with training delivered by Eagle Eye Innovations from their home base at Beeches Farm Airstrip in Lincolnshire.
Air League 2023-2024 drone scholarships have now been announced.
