At FTN Towers we are quickly falling for the ‘will it start’ and ‘I bought the cheapest…’ craze of YouTube videos. What is more exciting is that a number of popular influencers are now moving away from aging ‘barn find supercars’ and ‘rusty old Cadillac’s’, and into light planes.
In this video Rebuild Rescues inspects a early 1980’s KitFox series one, that it purchased off the internet for $9500 ‘sigh unseen’, and has not flown in a long while.
The video highlights some of the maintenance tasks, including new parts and components, needed to make it airworthy again, and is the second episode in this series of aircraft rebuilds.
