Emerald Airlines Pilot Recruitment

Ireland’s newest regional operator Emerald Airlines has opened recruitment for newly qualified pilots to join its team at Dublin Airport. This follows a recent trend by European carriers after both British Airways and TUI launched their own pilot recruitment drives.

Commencing operations in February last year, Emerald Airlines operates Aer Lingus’ regional franchise servicing 21 cities in Ireland, France,
the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, and the UK.

The airline is now looking for new pilots to crew its fleet of 16 ATR 72-600 turbo-prop aircraft. The vacancy is for pilots who have completed their training via a modular or integrated course at any Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) approved ATO. Entry requirements:

• A minimum of 250 flight hours experience.
• A current EASA fATPL licence.
• A current EASA Class 1 medical.
• Have the unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland.
• Have achieved a minimum 85% theoretical knowledge average, with no more than three resits.

In return, Emerald says it offers:

• An opportunity to be part of an exciting new Irish airline.
• Great earning potential.
• Regular roster, stable 5:2:5:3 pattern.
• Company pension scheme, life insurance, loss
of licence cover, discounted health care.
• Annual medical, licence renewal, uniform,
and staff cark park provided.
• Staff Travel Privileges.
• Job security – permanent positions available.
• Dublin base.

Emerald says: “You will get to work with a great team; we are a tight-knit organisation who value integrity, openness and collaboration. You will get the opportunity to be part of an exciting new Irish airline and to fly in the most eco-responsible commercial turbo-prop aircraft, the ATR 72-600.”

Applications can be done online via the airline’s website, or CVs can be submitted direct to the recruitment team at [email protected]
