Goodwood Flying School will host its first auction to raise funds for the 2024 Rob Wildeboer Scholarships at its Chichester base this weekend.
The Goodwood aviation community suffered an immeasurable loss with the passing of its Goodwood Flying School Manager, Rob Wildeboer, after a unexpected illness in 2021.
To remember and honour Rob in accordance with the wishes of his family, a number of scholarships have now been launched to help students on their aviation journeys.
The auction will comprise of a wide range of items such as afternoon tea, signed books and thrilling experiences including:
- Fly with a Fighter Pilot Experience with Ultimate High
- One night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at Goodwood Hotel with Dinner at Farmer Butcher Chef
- 45-minute Trial Lesson in a Piper Super Cub
- A limited edition copy of The Legends of Motorsport book signed by 22 of the most legendary racing drivers.
