Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) signs exclusive long-term pilot training agreement with CAE to operate an A320 family full-flight simulator (FFS) at is Miami, Florida base. The FFS will be ready for pilot training in the first quarter of 2024 and will support the operator’s growing aircrew maintenance and insurance (ACMI) and air charter fleet, plus its A321F expansion programme.
“We are delighted to be signing this agreement with CAE to provide GlobalX with a dedicated Level D full-flight simulator,” said John Coomes, GlobalX’s vice president and director of operations. “We expect to see our relationship with CAE continue to grow as we focus on having the very highest levels of safety in our operations. We greatly appreciate CAE’s confidence in our team and our company by providing us with this FFS.”

GlobalX is a Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 121 US domestic flag and supplemental Airline operating A320 family aircraft, supporting US, Caribbean, European and Latin American markets. In 2023, GlobalX entered ACMI cargo service flying the A321F.
