TUI opens new pilot job application portal

TUI is on the lookout for new pilots to join the airline after opening its online pilot hiring portal and the first phase of the application process. TUI is inviting non-type rated, rated, and military pilots to apply for the position. Successful candidates will then have the chance to become a Second or First Officer flying the carriers’ 737 aircraft.

According to TUI: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join TUI and benefit from a lifestyle contract that reflects the seasonality of our business. In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy working full time in the summer season and part-time in the winter season, with the benefit of bidding for your time off to suit your lifestyle. Furthermore, there are no up-front training costs although a period of bonding will apply.”

The airline adds that its pilots will also benefit from, a pension scheme, private medical insurance, and a generous leave allowance, including membership to an industry leading income protection scheme, plus a host of other benefits.

TUI’s latest initiative comes after it announced its 2024 fully funded MPL pilot training programme that sees cadets with no prior flying experience join the airline in the ‘left hand’ seat of a 737.
