Pilot Careers Live event this Saturday (13 July 2024)

Pilot Careers Live is returning to the Concorde Centre at Manchester Airport this Saturday, 13 July 2024.

For those interested in learning more about what is involved in training to become a commercial pilot, as well as learning about the various careers on offer, PCL offers a one-stop shop for aspiring pilots.

Flight academies from across Europe will be in attendance, providing an opportunity to learn about the training programmes they offer, alongside pilot shops, aviation organisations and pilot unions.

A number of airlines are also attending, including British Airways, easyJet, Emerald Airways, Loganair, Jet2 and TUI.

Alongside the main exhibition hall, seminars will run throughout the day. Speakers confirmed include:

British Airways

Hear first-hand what the British Airways recruitment team has to share about current recruitment and the different routes available to becoming a British Airways First Officer.

Loganair

Join Loganair’s Flight Crew Recruiter, Jordan, as he delves into the new and improved recruitment process for the UK’s Largest Regional Airline. With details on opportunities for low-hour pilots and what you need to join the team, which was voted Best Domestic Airline of the Year in 2023, there will be something for pilots at all stages of their training and career.

easyJet

Captain Kate West MBE will explain how the MPL programme works and why it is the preferred route to the flight-deck for easyJet. Kate will also provide an insight into how to choose a training organisation and perform at your best during the selection process.

Jet2.com

An overview of the industry-leading Jet2.com Future Second Officer (FSO) development programme, from Jet2.com’s Future Pilot Programme Manager, Josh Raven.
