Flight simulator pilot training and experiences provider FlightPad is recruiting for a Lead Operator & Technician to run the company’s B737 fixed-base simulator.
FlightPad says the hands-on role is perfect for someone with a passion for aviation and customer service, who will be operating the simulator for public, training and corporate experiences. As a technician, the individual will also regularly maintain and upgrade the flight simulator to ensure a smooth, consistent operation.
The role will see the individual operate the 737 fixed-base simulator for FlightPad bookings, including public experiences, training sessions, corporate days and events at the University of West London where the simulator is based.
FlightPad says it’s looking for:
- Passion for aviation and a growth mindset.
- Experience in operational management, or relevant transferable skills in aviation, event or customer service
- Strong customer service and attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively in different ways, both written and verbal.
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Preferred: Technical aptitude for operating a Boeing 737 flight simulator (interface used: FS Flight Control).
