With the first course of British cadets having just arrived at Skyborne’s fair weather training base at Vero Beach in Florida, the flight training academy is now running an open day on 24 July at their UK Gloucestershire Airport HQ to explain what training programmes are on offer at their USA flight school.
The open day, which runs from 10am to 2pm, is aimed to provide prospective cadets with details on everything they need to know before starting the journey to becoming a commercial pilot with Skyborne.
The academy’s new US training base boasts 320 flying days every year in the Florida skies. Located on a 30-acre site between Orlando and West Palm Beach, the academy is minutes from the Space Coast and situated within reach of 137 airports state-wide. With over 200 recently renovated bedrooms, a swimming pool, soccer field, volleyball court, cafes and bookshops, trainees enjoy a full campus experience.
