Kura has announce the launch of The Mike Langley Foundation.
Mike had a distinguished career in the Royal Air Force rising to Wing Commander with 36 years of service, followed by a further 25 years leading the way in UK ‘ab-initio’ pilot training, working with self-funded pilots, airlines, universities and regulatory bodies from around the world. Mike is also a founder member of Kura and head of its advisory board.
Recognising Mike’s significant contribution to aviation, The Mike Langley Foundation is a charitable trust seeking to widen access to the aviation profession through funding initiatives and scholarships giving opportunities for those with a real passion for aviation to fulfil their dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot.
The Mike Langley Foundation will be formally launched by Captain Ian Baston from Flybe at a fund raising event on the evening of Tuesday 29th November. Prizes to be auctioned on the 29th include a number of ‘air experiences’, airliner simulator sessions and training courses.
